School Meals

The school meals work on a 3 weekly rota. Take a look at the menu on this page:

In accordance with the government initiative, all Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 school pupils in England will be eligible for Universal Infant Free School Meals. This is to encourage a balanced diet from an early age and help children be as healthy as possible.

The cost of a school meal for KS2 children is £2.40 per day (£12.00 per week). Payments should be made via Parent Pay. More information is available from the school office.

If you are in receipt of certain benefits you may be entitled to free school meals for your child regardless of their age. It is well worth registering even if your child is in infants and already receives free school meals. This is because schools receive a ‘pupil premium’ payment for each eligible child which will be spent on resources to benefit your child’s education. Please click here to apply.

For more information or contact the Bury Council Free School Meals Team on telephone number 0161 253 5858.

Please contact the school office if you would like your child to change to school dinners as two week’s notice is required.
