Forest School Adventures Bring Learning to Life Across the Curriculum

This term, every class has taken part in exciting Forest School sessions led by the brilliant Mrs Edwards, with each experience carefully linked to the curriculum. Come rain or shine, our children have embraced the outdoors—developing resilience, teamwork and a deep connection with nature, while having so much fun!

One highlight came from Year 3, who brought their history topic on the Romans to life by crafting bows and arrows and role-playing the defence of a Roman village. These hands-on activities sparked imagination and curiosity, helping children understand the past in a truly memorable way.

Forest School is more than just outdoor play – it’s a powerful way to support learning, build confidence and create lasting memories. We’re incredibly grateful to our trust, Oak Learning Partnership, whose funding through the Oak Experiences ensures all our pupils can enjoy these enriching opportunities.
