From 19 May, our children enjoyed an unforgettable ‘Sports and Wellbeing Week’ packed with exciting activities and new experiences – all generously funded by our trust, Oak Learning Partnership, as part of the Oak Experiences. The week was a true celebration of health, movement and joy, offering something for everyone.
Pupils danced their hearts out in a high-energy workshop with Freak Dance, found calm and focus during a yoga session and tackled a thrilling climbing wall challenge. They also took part in rugby sessions led by Salford Red Devils, tested their aim with archery, supported by cadets from Philips High School and raced through an agility course and inflatable obstacle course. The week ended on a high with a colourful Fun Run – complete with funny accessories – to raise funds for our brand-new climbing frame.
It was a week full of laughter, teamwork and personal achievement, helping our children build confidence, stay active and create memories that will last a lifetime.
