Forest school fun

Published: July 9, 2025 10:23 am

On Wednesday 2 July the LinC took part in a fabulous forest school session. The children immersed themselves in a variety of hands-on, nature-inspired activities. They crafted log necklaces and embarked on an exciting bug hunt, using magnifying glasses to discover the tiny creatures hidden beneath logs and leaves.

Creativity flowed as they painted with natural materials – using leaves, sticks and other natural materials to print patterns and textures onto paper. Throughout the afternoon, the children enjoyed exploring the outdoor area freely, as well as weaving willow onto our garden fence.
