All children at Unsworth are expected to complete home learning and this is shared termly on our home learning grids via Seesaw and printed copies that the children bring home.
Our home learning is SMART - Spelling, Maths and Reading Together! We focus on parents supporting their child's basic skills at home, with the expectation that children learn their weekly spellings, complete small chunks of maths learning online via the various online platforms that we use and that children read to an adult at home three times per week. The difference that this input from parents can make is remarkable and we hope parents see their child's learning as a wonderful partnership with both school and home working together.
